We introduce "Raizan River" in Fukuoka Prefecture as an example of the construction of the "FRP Boardwalk." It is a waterfront deck located in a brackish water area in Maebaru City, Fukuoka Prefecture. Since rare plants inhabit the area, we selected materials to ensure sunlight reaches beneath the deck, and because it is a brackish water area, we chose materials to minimize buoyancy and prevent the structure from floating.
