Applications/Examples of results
In cases where the measurement surface has irregularities, is irregularly shaped with little flat area, or has deep recesses, the pressure application surface of the durometer may not make proper contact (may not reach), making accurate measurements difficult. In such situations, the deep hole (HT) type and long leg (LT) type allow for measurements by reducing or extending the pressure application surface. Both types come standard with a contact needle and upper and lower limiters.
