Utilizing Otis's unique technology and adhesive methods, we offer a processing technique that wraps metal film around the core material without compromising its flexibility, providing a wide variety of metal films, core materials, and adhesives tailored to specific required properties. Three Features: 1. Deformation: Freely conforms to any shape while ensuring conductivity. 2. Conductivity and Contact Points: Excellent flexibility facilitates surface contact with the target object, achieving '1.8 times' superior conductivity compared to conventional conductive fabrics. 3. Minimal Burrs on Cut Surfaces: Compared to traditional electric cloth, there is extremely little loss of conductive material, preventing issues such as shorts. Customizable Thickness, Length, and Width: 1. Size Settings: - Thickness: Freely adjustable from approximately 0.2mm to 10mm in 0.1mm increments. - Width: Proven capability down to a minimum width of approximately 1.0mm. - Length: Cut to specified dimensions. 2. Core Material Changes: - High-performance urethane foam can be used as the core material, allowing adjustments in thickness and hardness. - Can also be changed to gel-type or low-rebound types. 3. Adhesive Material (Double-sided Tape) Settings: - Accommodates all requests regarding conductivity, non-conductivity, thickness, width, adhesive strength, and application position. The shield spring can be used in limited spaces such as contact applications and demonstrates excellent conductivity. <Example of Achievements> It was adopted as an emergency countermeasure component for grounding between multilayer printed circuit boards and metal frames in mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. Originally, the design was intended to achieve conductive contact by providing four claws on the metal frame, but just before mass production, it was discovered that these claws alone would not meet performance requirements! Changing the shape of the metal frame would not allow for timely mass production... which is where "MeFit" came into play. By adopting Otis's unique technology, the ultra-thin MeFit (with a minimum thickness of 0.2 mm), it was possible to insert the MeFit into narrow gaps where no components were originally planned to be incorporated, achieving sufficient characteristics. Additionally, the easy implementation of simply pinching the MeFit with tweezers and sticking it onto the metal frame minimized the cost increase for assembly work, which pleased the customer. This is an example that fully utilizes the characteristics of MeFit, which combines the flexibility of cushioning with the conductivity of metal, significantly reducing the possibility of metal burrs falling off.
