"Efficiency in production and flexible response to prototyping and development" in-house production of equipment and molds.
We are one of the few press processing companies in the country that can internally produce equipment, molds, and jigs. We flexibly respond to a variety of processing conditions.
Our company has a technical department that develops equipment and manufactures molds. The processing equipment of the Otis Group is fundamentally 'in-house designed/developed products,' allowing for customization of the equipment according to the required product processing conditions, thus accommodating a variety of product processing conditions. Additionally, we have introduced machining centers, wire-cut electric discharge machines, and other equipment at our headquarters factory, enabling in-house production of molds and jigs. This provides advantages such as: - Improved speed of mold and tool acquisition - Flexibility to make fine adjustments as needed Since we can perform mold adjustments in-house, it is particularly possible to shorten the time required for mold adjustments during prototyping. With our in-house system capable of in-house production of molds and jigs, which is rare even domestically, we aim to achieve a minimum turnaround time of six hours from order to delivery for prototypes. Please feel free to contact us for processing requests, even for small lots.

Detailed information
-
5-ton press machine A 5-ton press machine developed in-house. The in-house developed product is painted in blue, which is the image color of Otis.
-
In-house sculpted blade type This is a blade type that has been carved from a block of metal into the blade and base parts using NC cutting and other methods. Even if the cutting edge is damaged, it can be re-sharpened, making it suitable for mass production. However, there are also disadvantages, such as high initial costs and longer lead times during creation.
-
[In-house] Thomson Blade Die This is a die in which a steel blade (Thomson blade) bent into the same shape as grooves processed by laser on a base of plywood, resin board, or metal plate is embedded. Compared to Pinnacle blade dies and engraved blade dies, it is cost-effective and has a shorter delivery time, making it widely used from urgent prototyping to mass production.

Our company is an electronics parts manufacturer that specializes in die-cutting functional materials such as films, double-sided tapes, and cushioning materials. Among these, smartphone components have been adopted by all domestic manufacturers and some overseas, currently accounting for 70% of our total sales and becoming our flagship product. There are many die-cutting manufacturers around the world, but our significant strength lies in the fact that we design and develop most of our processing machines and molds in-house. This allows us to quickly introduce new products as needed, enabling us to respond swiftly to rapidly changing demands and smoothly accommodate specification changes for remodeling.
