Composite processing using sheet molding + punching and bonding technology! In addition to flat surfaces, we will expand our capabilities to accommodate curved surfaces and three-dimensional shapes.
Otis specializes in die-cutting and laminating functional materials such as resin films, adhesive tapes, and metal foils. There is a growing demand for designs that seamlessly integrate into everyday products like home appliances, IoT devices, and displays, leading to an increase in curved and streamlined products. To accommodate this, our company is developing sheet molding technology in addition to flat processing through die-cutting and laminating films and tapes, to include processing of curved and uneven shapes. For example, by consistently performing the molding and die-cutting of resin sheets, as well as the laminating of different materials such as tapes, foams, and metal foils, we can offer advantages such as reduced transportation costs and shortened delivery times for items like membrane switch covers and dome switch covers, and protective films. We manufacture our own processing equipment and molds, allowing us to simultaneously improve equipment and molds while verifying processing. This enables us to rapidly develop technology and achieve mass production even for materials and shapes that other companies have struggled to process, resulting in numerous successful cases. If you have any issues with processing films or tapes, please consult with Otis.
