In the European and American flexible packaging materials industry, as the trend towards solvent-free solutions continues, traditional two-component polyurethane adhesives face limitations in increasing line speeds due to mist generated by the adhesives, which can lead to contamination of the work environment and products. Additionally, the curing time before cutting after lamination can take several days, and if defects are found during quality checks of the laminated products after this period, it results in the waste of several days' worth of production. Furthermore, certain combinations of laminated materials (such as aluminum-coated films with OPP, PET, etc.) may not adhere properly, prompting Clavirit to develop a two-component polyurethane adhesive to address these issues.
