gPROMS Formulated Products is equipped with a library of process models for operations such as reactions, crystallization, wet and dry milling, spray drying, wet and dry granulation, blending, and tablet compression. In the case applied to the pharmaceutical process, it is possible to achieve consistent overall system performance from active pharmaceutical ingredient manufacturing through the formulation process to risk analysis of oral absorption. PSE regularly conducts free training sessions regarding this product. Anyone is welcome to participate. Since the release of gPROMS FormulatedProducts 1.3 in December 2018, a food manufacturing process and mining process library have been added. The food manufacturing process library is the result of collaborative research with world-leading food nutrition organizations, and it includes models for membrane filtration, thermal processing, falling film evaporators, and multi-stage spray drying. In the recent version upgrade (gPROMS FormulatedProducts 1.6), a reaction calorimeter model and an HPLC model have been added.
