A thin, flexible strip-type getter that can be installed in narrow spaces.
The coated strip has a layer of Saes's St707 or St101 powder laminated on both sides of a thin metal strip, which can be either magnetic (nickel) or non-magnetic (constantan). The powder is firmly adhered to the strip without using any binder, through cooling compression bonding. The thickness of the getter layer is approximately 70 micrometers on each side of the strip. The laminated powder retains a relatively high degree of porosity (surface area is 1500 cm²/mg), ensuring high getter performance per unit area. 【Features】 ○ High pumping speed per area/length ○ Two getter alloys are available: St707 for activation at normal temperatures and St101 for activation at high temperatures. ○ The substrate of the getter strip can be magnetic (nickel) or non-magnetic (constantan). ○ The strip can be incorporated into small and narrow spaces, functioning effectively as a local pump or distributed pump. ○ Getter materials can be activated by external heaters or by passing current through them. ○ Highly flexible and easy to customize.

basic information
The St707 strip, made in a continuous ribbon shape, can be cut to a specific length to meet user needs. The strip is originally highly flexible and can be bent to a certain degree, making it easier to fit into final devices or vacuum chambers. The strip also allows for passive activation between activation due to current passage and thermal processing such as vacuum bake-out. The St101 strip, made in a continuous ribbon shape, can also be cut to a specific length to meet user needs. The cut pieces of the strip can be welded onto the metal frame inside the lamp at a certain distance from the burner. This distance varies depending on the type of lamp and the manufacturing process. Getter strips can be fully activated (radio frequency) or partially activated (exposure to lamp burners). Information about the available formats is provided in the brochure.

Company information
The "Saes Getters Group," a global pioneer in getter technology, has been providing solutions for various applications, such as high and ultra-high vacuum environments and the deposition of pure metals, since its founding in the 1940s (including gas/moisture adsorbents, mercury/alkali metal deposition sources, etc.). Additionally, the company has actively invested in research and development, and since 2004, it has expanded its business into the Nitinol market. The superelastic properties of Nitinol are applied in medical devices, while its shape memory characteristics are utilized in industrial and household electrical appliances.
