This is then coated with a refractory material, and after curing, it is heated and the wax is removed (lost-wax), creating a cavity in the mold that matches the shape of the wax model, into which metal is poured. Although it is a molded product, it can accommodate both small production runs (from 5 pieces) and larger quantities.
