PRESSEL is a strength calculation program that complies with the pressure vessel design standards (Type I pressure vessels, Type II pressure vessels). It includes a database of various material properties (allowable tensile stress, yield point or 0.2% proof strength, longitudinal elastic modulus, linear expansion coefficient), various external pressure charts, and fatigue calculation curves. ■ We have prepared strength calculation documents for 65 types of internal pressure/external pressure components, including shells, end plates, flanges, and reinforcement rings. ■ All materials are included in the pressure vessel structural standard, JIS B 8265 (2010). ■ The corrected allowable stress values are automatically input based on the selected materials and design temperature. ■ External pressure calculations can be easily performed using the external pressure material curves. ■ The output paper for calculation results can be used as an application strength calculation document.
