Introducing a sake cup made from "Ogatsu stone," which excels in thermal insulation. Enjoy the "jet-black elegance."
The 'Ogata's Wet Sake Cup' is a sake vessel developed through regional collaboration between industry, academia, and government to support the recovery of Ogata Town, which suffered significant damage in the Great East Japan Earthquake on March 11, 2011. It uses the difficult-to-machine material 'Ogata Stone.' By taking advantage of the natural stone's 'hard and brittle' characteristics, we have utilized our expertise in ultra-precision and high-accuracy machining technology for metal parts to commercialize this product. We offer two types: 'guinomi' (sake cup) and 'hirabachi' (flat cup). [Features] ■ Sake vessel for chilled sake made from the difficult-to-machine material 'Ogata Stone' ■ Commercialized using ultra-precision and high-accuracy machining technology for metal parts ■ Available in two types: 'guinomi' and 'hirabachi' ■ Each piece has a unique texture due to the natural stone material ■ Planning and production by Kokeshi no Shimanuki Co., Ltd. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
