This is a servo that uses technology independently developed by the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST).
The high-speed tool servo FTS is a device that can be mounted on the tool holder of ultra-precision machining machines, enabling ultra-precise and high-speed positioning of the tool tip, thus allowing for the machining of shapes that were impossible with conventional machines. By equipping the tool post of an ultra-precision lathe with the FTS, it becomes possible to arbitrarily control the tip position, allowing for the machining of not only conventional linear shapes but also wavy and spherical shapes. 【Features】 ■ Cutting depth of the tool tip can be controlled in sub-microns ■ High-speed drive with a response bandwidth of 4 kHz supports machining of large workpieces *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
