Light-induced solid-liquid phase transition reusable photosensitive materials
Tokyo Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., which primarily supplies research and development reagents and a wide range of product materials including pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and electronic materials, introduces "photosensitive materials that allow for light adhesion and light detachment." This product is a modified version of the "organic material that undergoes repeated solidification," which was commercialized under a license from the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology and received a significant response. At room temperature, it can reversibly change phase from solid to liquid under ultraviolet light exposure and from liquid to solid under visible light exposure. 【Features】 ■ Reusable photosensitive material ■ Capable of light adhesion and light detachment *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

basic information
【Usage Examples】 ■ Light Adhesion By irradiating with ultraviolet light (365nm), the material transitions from a solid to a liquid state, and then by irradiating with visible light (450nm), the glass plates are bonded together. ■ Light Debonding By irradiating the bonded area with ultraviolet light (365nm), it returns to a liquid state, allowing for debonding. The adhesion strength is approximately 60 N cm-2 (0.6MPa) at maximum, with the highest adhesion strength observed in B4598 with a carbon number of 12. ■ Photo Patterning Resist The liquid portion can be easily removed (developed) by blowing it away or washing it off, making it applicable as a simple photolithography process. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
