The MS242, housed in a sturdy case, is made with the highest quality components for smooth card swiping. Its unique head design offers ease of use to the user by ensuring reliable reading with over a million read cycles and a single swipe. The entire unit is approximately the same length as a credit card, measuring 100 millimeters. The MS242 supports three-track magnetic stripe cards regardless of the swipe direction or speed. It can connect to a PC or Mac via a USB interface, and on Windows PCs, it is possible to program the data format and configuration according to the application's communication requirements. It can be mounted on a counter or wall using two brass screw holes at the bottom or Velcro. Additionally, the LED indicator lights up red to alert the user in case of an error.
