Built-in 3G SDI with reclocker, 75Ω bidirectional I/O 'LMH0397'
The LMH0397 can be configured as an adaptive cable equalizer in input mode or as a dual cable driver in output mode. A single BNC can be used as either an input or output port, simplifying the design of HD-SDI video hardware. The built-in reclocker locks at up to 2.97 Gbps for all supported SMPTE data rates in both input and output modes. It features on-chip 75Ω termination and a return loss compensation network that meets stringent SMPTE return loss requirements. An additional 75Ω driver allows for various system functionalities, with this driver being used as a loop-through output in EQ (equalizer) mode and as a second fan-out cable driver in CD (cable driver) mode. The on-chip reclocker attenuates high-frequency jitter and fully reconstructs data using a clean low-jitter clock. This reclocker has an integrated loop filter, eliminating the need for an input reference clock. *For more details, please contact us.*
