The UR18 series is a cylindrical ultrasonic sensor with analog (current/voltage) output and digital (ON/OFF) output, redesigned in detail, including the detection surface material, output circuit, and setting method. A newly developed material has been adopted for the detection surface. As a result, waterproofing and durability have significantly improved compared to conventional products. Regarding output, both analog (current/voltage) output types and digital (ON/OFF) output types have been released. The digital output employs a "Push-Pull circuit," allowing for both PNP and NPN outputs. Depending on the application you are using, you can choose either PNP or NPN. Additionally, the setting method utilizes "qTeach," which involves setting by holding a screwdriver over the recessed area at the bottom of the sensor body. Designed with attention to various details, this UR18 series ultrasonic sensor can demonstrate its performance and ease of use in many applications.
