The U500 (Enhanced) series is a rectangular ultrasonic sensor with analog (current/voltage) output and digital (ON/OFF) output, redesigned in detail, including the detection surface material, special protection for the detection surface, output circuit, and setting method. The detection surface uses a newly developed material, featuring a PEEK resin film on the surface, covered by laser welding, significantly improving both waterproofness and durability compared to conventional products. Regarding output, both analog (current/voltage) output types and digital (ON/OFF) output types are available. The digital output employs a "Push-Pull circuit," allowing for both PNP and NPN outputs. Depending on the application, either PNP or NPN can be selected. The setting method utilizes "qTeach," which involves setting by holding a driver over the recessed area on the back of the sensor body. Designed with attention to various details, the U500 (Enhanced) series is an ultrasonic sensor that can demonstrate its performance, ease of use, and durability in many applications.
