The UR18 (Enhanced) series is a cylindrical ultrasonic sensor with analog (current/voltage) output and digital (ON/OFF) output, redesigned in detail, including the detection surface material, special protection for the detection surface, output circuit, and setting method. The detection surface uses a newly developed material, featuring a PEEK resin film on the surface, which is covered by laser welding, significantly improving both waterproofing and durability compared to conventional products, achieving a waterproof and dustproof protection rating of IP69K. Regarding output, both analog (current/voltage) output type and digital (ON/OFF) output type have been released. The digital output employs a "Push-Pull circuit," allowing for both PNP and NPN outputs. Depending on the application, either PNP or NPN can be selected. The setting method utilizes "qTeach," which involves holding a driver over the recessed area at the bottom of the sensor body to perform the settings. Designed with attention to various details, the UR18 (Enhanced) series is an ultrasonic sensor that demonstrates its performance, ease of use, and durability in many applications.
