A GRIN lens is a miniaturized lens that combines excellent optical performance with a uniform optical surface. It is also a lens with very low wavelength dependence. The degree of refraction (Optical Power) of a GRIN lens is determined by the refractive index distribution within the glass, created through ion exchange. At GRINTECH, our unique 'non-toxic silver exchange' technology is applied to rod lenses and cylindrical lenses.
