Active in national parks and world heritage sites! An energy-saving advanced purification system in harmony with nature.
"Sofir" is a purification tank developed as an energy-efficient, low environmental impact advanced purification system using a soil microbial membrane process. Countless microorganisms living in the soil purify wastewater in a short time. The treated water has little to no odor or color, making it suitable for reuse as toilet flushing water. Additionally, despite the advanced treatment, the maintenance inspection frequency is low at just four times, and the power consumption is minimal, contributing to cost reduction. 【Features】 ■ Advanced treated water ■ Energy-saving system ■ Easy maintenance ■ Unaffected by user fluctuations *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Detailed information
-
Sofeel's treated water is clean, with no color or odor, making it suitable for use in toilet flushing and irrigation. About 70% of the installations have opted for the treated water reuse system.
-
On the left of the photo is "untreated wastewater," the middle is "Sofeel's treated water." Compared to the distilled water on the right, it is equally good and can be reused hygienically. The BOD of the treated water is purified to about 1-3 mg/l. The clarity is over 1 meter.

For planned projects in mountainous areas without commercial power supply and for planning measures against power outages during disasters, the Sofir circular system combined with a "solar power generation and storage system" is recommended. Sofir features a simple system configuration with minimal power consumption, making it possible to use a small power generation device.
-
Even facilities that experience significant fluctuations in users due to seasonal attractions can achieve stable processing thanks to soil microorganisms.
-
The equipment uses only a submersible pump and an air blower that operate intermittently, resulting in very low power consumption. Despite the advanced processing, the maintenance inspection frequency is low at four times a year, leading to low running costs.
-
What is the Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) project? ETV is an environmental technology verification project implemented by the Ministry of the Environment, where advanced environmental technologies are objectively verified by a third party, and the verification results are published on the website. Sofir conducted the verification in fiscal year 2016, and both detailed and simplified versions are available.
-
Sofeel is a high-performance treatment tank that has received certification from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism as a "soil microbial membrane purification tank." Therefore, even when applying a circular system, it is possible to discharge excess water, and compared to a "vacuum-type circulation treatment system," it has the advantage of lower running costs.

The Sofir Association conducts activities such as site visits to facilities with proven results and case presentations at general meetings and training sessions. In the process of adopting Sofir, various comparisons and considerations regarding processing scale are conducted. As part of product dissemination, we strive to share information and provide the latest updates on comparisons with products from other companies in the same industry, as well as differences in technology, advantages, and disadvantages.

The 21st century is referred to as the "Era of the Environment." The mission of environmental creators is significant, and there are great expectations from various sectors. In particular, creating towns that are kind to both people and the planet is considered an urgent issue in modern times. "Designing while protecting the natural environment is the culture and 'heart' of the town. The landscape and space of the completed facilities represent the beautiful 'form' of the town." With this concept, we pursue what truly constitutes a comfortable environment and steadily realize it based on high levels of safety and security! The Sofeel Association, which has members nationwide, possesses the mobility to respond with a complete system to the necessary ideas, materials, and technological capabilities required to create such an ideal environment.
