In March 2002, Orient Ecology Co., Ltd. was established as a subsidiary of Toyo Construction to engage in business areas related to "water" with a focus on the global environment of the 21st century. It started by selling unit-type mobile toilets that can be used at construction sites and events, but after various technological improvements, it now offers "self-processing toilets" that consider natural environments without discharging treated water.
