The "AMX7135/48" is a USB interface reader-writer device for RFID specimen containers. Traditionally, barcodes have been used for identifying small specimen containers due to their size, but issues arise when moisture in the air freezes on the surface of containers taken out from extreme low temperatures, leading to delays in barcode reading and misreads resulting in incorrect handling. To address these issues, we have developed an RFID reader capable of instantaneously reading specimen containers that are equipped with extremely small RFID tags. It can identify the location of the desired specimen container within a storage box, even if the container is covered in frost or if the storage box is made of paper.
