A locking system that maintains bolt fixation through axial force (preload) rather than friction.

The "HEICO-LOCK(R) Wedge Locking System" protects bolts from rotational loosening not through friction, but by using "axial force (preload)." Born in Germany, HEICO-LOCK(R) provides high anti-loosening performance and reliability even under intense vibrations and dynamic loads. The anti-loosening effect of the HEICO-LOCK(R) series has been proven through vibration tests in accordance with international standards: - German Industrial Standards (DIN 65151, DIN 25201-4) - U.S. Aerospace Standards (NASM 1312-7) 【Features】 ■ The inner surface of the washer has a wedge-shaped cam surface, while the outer side has a radial tooth surface. ■ The radial tooth surface on the outer side of the washer firmly spikes into the underside of the bolt/nut and the material being fastened when the bolt is tightened. ■ The movement of the system occurs only between the wedge-shaped cam surfaces on the inner side of the washer. ■ The movement at the wedge-shaped cam surface effectively increases the axial force of the bolt. ■ It provides reliable fastening strength under dynamic loads. *For more details, please download the PDF or contact us.
