2-channel low noise inductance/digital converter 'LDC2112'
The "LDC2112" is an inductive touch solution for low-power HMI button applications. Inductive sensing technology enables the design of touch buttons for human-machine interfaces (HMI) on various materials such as metal, glass, plastic, and wood by measuring slight distortions of inductive targets. The sensors for the inductive touch system can be implemented on a small PCB on the back of the panel and can be protected from the surrounding environment. Inductive sensing solutions do not react to humidity or non-conductive contaminants such as oil and mud. The deformation of the inductive target can be automatically corrected. The "LDC2112" incorporates algorithms for implementing inductive touch applications. It uses an innovative LC resonator, achieving a high noise/interference rejection rate. Additionally, it can reliably detect distortions of less than 200nm in materials. Furthermore, it features an ultra-low power mode for power on/off buttons in battery-operated applications. An evaluation module is also available. *For more details, please contact us.*
