PWM input, fully integrated 58V Class-D amplifier power stage 'TAS5634'
The "TAS5634" supports an output of 2 × 300W (6Ω) or 1 × 600W (3Ω) with a nominal power supply voltage of 58V. With a 58V power supply voltage, it accommodates high impedance speaker loads of 6Ω in BTL and 3Ω in PBTL. The built-in MOSFETs and new gate drive method achieve high peak efficiency and low idle losses, reducing the size of thermal solutions. The "TAS5634" employs a closed-loop feedback design and a constant voltage gain. The gain resistors, which are matched internally, provide a high power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) and low output noise from the switch-mode power supply (SMPS). It features a fully integrated power stage and is compatible with TI's digital input (I2S) audio processors/modulators such as the TAS5548 and TAS5558, enabling a comprehensive digital input Class-D amplifier.
