We would like to introduce the features of the device "ROLIS," which transfers and captures images of cylindrical surfaces using a 2D imaging sensor (CCD camera). The ROLIS camera has many advantages compared to scanning imaging with a typical line sensor camera. Since it captures images with a wide slit, it automatically captures highlights even if they move within a certain range. The Inspection Equipment Division designs and manufactures various inspection machines, including the "Cylindrical Surface Imaging Inspection Device ROLIS," which inspects processing defects such as casting defects, dents, and vibrations occurring on cam grinding surfaces and journals. Additionally, we develop and sell in-house the aluminum frames, which are mechanical components, and the control software, which serves as the brain of the machines.
