The Geospatial Information Authority of Japan operates a network of approximately 1,200 electronic reference points (GEONET) distributed nationwide to monitor crustal deformation caused by earthquakes and volcanic activity, while also providing real-time data from these electronic reference points to the private sector. Our company receives this real-time data from the electronic reference points through the Japan Surveying Association, which is the distribution organization authorized by the Geospatial Information Authority, and conducts analysis 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to provide positioning correction data services to our customers.
