The "FLIR A8300sc MWIR" is a mid-wave infrared camera equipped with a cooled FLIR indium antimonide (InSb) detection element, operating in the wavelength range of 3 to 5 microns. Due to its snapshot mode, it is capable of capturing thermal images of all pixels simultaneously from the photographed scene. This feature is useful in situations where image blur is a concern with uncooled infrared cameras, such as when objects are moving at high speeds.
