Low power modem "DAC8740H" for industrial process control and industrial automation.
Low power modems for industrial process control and industrial automation. In HART mode, it integrates all the circuits necessary to operate as a half-duplex HART physical layer modem, minimizing the number of external components for filtering in either slave or master configuration. In FOUNDATION Fieldbus mode, it integrates all the circuits necessary to operate as a half-duplex FOUNDATION Fieldbus compatible H1 controller or Medium Attachment Unit (MAU). HART, FOUNDATION Fieldbus, and PROFIBUS PA data streams can be transmitted from the microcontroller through an accessible built-in FIFO via a UART interface or SPI interface. The SPI interface includes SDO pins for daisy-chain support, various interrupt functions, and other extended features. Evaluation modules and reference designs are also available.
