1-channel, rail-to-rail input micro-power low voltage comparator 'TLV7021'
Ideal for portable/battery-operated devices with strict space constraints. This is a single-channel Micro-Power comparator that operates at low voltage and has rail-to-rail input capability. It offers an excellent combination of speed and power consumption, with a propagation delay of 260ns and a quiescent current of 5μA. This combination of fast response time and Micro-Power allows for quick responses to fault conditions even in power-limited systems. The operating voltage range is 1.6V to 5.5V, making it compatible with 3V and 5V systems. There is no phase inversion of the output for overdrive input, and it features internal hysteresis. It is ideal for accurate voltage monitoring when there is a need to convert slowly varying input signals into clean digital outputs in harsh and noisy environments. It has an open-drain output stage, allowing for output levels that can exceed VCC, making it suitable for level shifters and converters from bipolar to single-ended. The package is an ultra-small leadless package measuring 0.8mm x 0.8mm.
