As asphalt pavement deteriorates, cracks begin to form. If left unattended, weeds will grow through those gaps. When the weeds grow, they further widen the cracks, creating a vicious cycle that damages the asphalt pavement. Moreover, even if you try to remove the weeds, they are rooted beneath the pavement, making it impossible to completely remove them down to the roots. If they grow back, the weeding process will have to be repeated. This is where the sidewalk gap weed prevention sheet comes into play. It is adhered to the pavement surface to seal the gaps and suppress the growth of weeds. The color of the sheet is similar to that of asphalt, resulting in a seamless finish.
