The "camSPECS" is a device for evaluating spectral sensitivity characteristics manufactured by Image Engineering. The camSPECS has all interference filters mounted on a single front plate (test chart), allowing for much faster and more convenient measurement of a camera's spectral sensitivity characteristics. (Access to files generated in RAW mode of digital cameras, referred to as "RAW files," is required.) "camSPECS XL" The camSPECS XL uses the same interference filter as the camSPECS, but it is suitable for wide-angle cameras in industries such as automotive and security because it uses a 22mm diameter filter. "camSPECS plate (TE292)" The camSPECS plate (TE292) is a transparent plate (transmissive chart) uniquely designed for measuring spectral sensitivity characteristics and color correction of cameras. It was developed as an option to be used with the front plate mounted on the camSPECS device and the LE7 lighting device, which provides high uniform illumination with an iQ-LED light source for transmissive charts. "camSPECS Software" The camSPECS and camSPECS XL come with dedicated software (camSPECS Software). This software directly measures spectral sensitivity using image and filter calibration data. The software also includes a module that can be used to evaluate the camera's color correction matrix (CCM).
