Compared to absorption towers with packing materials, it significantly reduces maintenance costs, and since the gas itself lifts the water, no pump is required. Additionally, the pressure loss is low at 1.3 kPa (2.6 kPa for the double type). **Principle** ■ Dust-laden gas passes through the throat section at high speed, stirring up water and violently colliding with the internal walls. ■ In the scrubbing section, it forms a vortex, resulting in an extremely effective gas-liquid mixture that captures the dust with water. ■ The cleaned gas is separated from the water by a water drainage plate and discharged.
