The permeable and water-retaining paving material "Color Sand" utilizes finely porous aggregate "Blast Furnace Water-quenched Slag," achieving high permeability and water retention as a landscape paving material. Depending on environmental conditions, its durability is approximately 15 to 20 years. It has a texture similar to soil, making it easy to blend into natural landscapes as "slag pavement." Choosing a gray tone can match urban landscapes as well. It allows rainwater to permeate and return to the ground, alleviating the "heat island phenomenon" in urban areas. There have been instances where surface temperatures were about 10°C lower compared to asphalt paving.
