This document presents the results of evaluating the components of foreign substances attached to metal materials using Raman analysis. Raman can measure micro-regions of about 1μm, allowing for the acquisition of information regarding the molecular or crystal structure of targeted areas, making it effective for qualitative analysis of sparsely present foreign substances.
