The backing plate is applied to reinforce the piping branch, and when performing prefabrication or on-site piping, there are concerns that directly welding support materials or foot materials to the product may affect the quality of the main pipe and the qualifications of the welders performing that welding. Therefore, the backing plate is used to address such concerns.
