This SAN allows for direct connection between clients and storage, enabling efficient processing of tasks that require multiple machines to work on a single dataset, such as video editing. The SAN configuration provides a faster storage environment compared to NAS. Additionally, a SAN starter pack that includes a file sharing controller for configuring the SAN is also available. It can accommodate 12 disks for large capacity and allows for redundancy in disk configuration by setting the RAID level to RAID 5 or RAID 6.
