The industrial Ethernet switch product 'ST Series', which is equipped with the environmental resistance and high reliability required by social infrastructure systems, features a "High-Speed Path Switching Function (HSS/MHSS)." HSS is our proprietary loop control function. When a path within the loop is severed, it performs a high-speed path switch in less than 500 milliseconds. MHSS is a function that allows multiple HSS loops to be configured within a single device, enabling control for each loop. 【Example Configuration of HSS/MHSS】 1. The SLAVE-P device sends a control frame, and each SLAVE device forwards that control frame. The MASTER-P device receives the control frame from the SLAVE-P device and blocks the port on the L3SW side. 2. A path disconnection occurs within the HSS loop. 3. The SLAVE device notifies the MASTER-P device that the path has been disconnected. 4.
