**Introduction to Inspection Methods** ■ Radiographic Testing (RT) - Radiation is applied to the test specimen, and the internal conditions are captured on film or a flat panel placed behind the specimen. - This method examines the internal flaws and shapes of the specimen based on the contrast of the captured images. ■ Ultrasonic Testing (UT) - When ultrasonic waves propagate through the test specimen, internal flaws or reflections from the back surface of the specimen occur. - This method detects internal flaws and measures the thickness of the specimen from the reflected ultrasonic waves. ■ Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) - When magnetic particles are applied to the surface of a magnetized test specimen, the particles adhere to any flaws. - As a result, the flaw areas are enlarged into a visible pattern, making them easier to see. ■ Penetrant Testing (PT) - Using a penetrant and capillary action before development, this method enlarges the open flaw areas on the surface of the test specimen into a visible pattern, making them easier to see. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
