[Construction Case] Yokohama Sogakukan High School Gymnasium Lighting Renovation
Reduce power consumption by about half! Illuminate the gym comfortably with energy-saving light.
Yokohama Sogakukan High School is actively engaged in energy conservation, and as part of this effort, we renovated the lighting in the gymnasium last autumn. In the lighting renovation, we compared LED and HID lamps, and replaced the existing 700W metal halide lamps with high-ceiling lighting fixtures using FEC Seralux Ace 360W as the light source, achieving significant energy savings. By keeping the number of installed units the same, we reduced power consumption by about half, which lowered running costs while increasing average illuminance by approximately 1.5 times, creating a bright and comfortable visual environment.
