Adopting a truss structure to achieve a spacious large space! Case study of a wooden prefabrication factory.
We will introduce examples of "system construction" that allow for the selection of suitable roofs, walls, and structures based on the purpose, size, and regional environment of factories and warehouses, achieving short construction periods and low costs. In a wood precut factory located in Shizuoka Prefecture, a truss structure was adopted for the precut building roof framework, realizing a spacious area of (60m + 45m) with only one central column over a span of 105m in the gable direction. The steel frame features a vibrant red color for the columns and a refreshing blue color (the image color of Polatech) for the beams. Combined with the simple truss structure, it creates a bright and light image. 【Construction Example】 ■ Completion Date: January 2013 (Heisei 25) ■ Location: Shizuoka Prefecture ■ Total Floor Area: 15,227.54m2 (4,606.33 tsubo) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
