- The Silicon FDD connects to the interface of a 3.5-inch FDD and can use alternative media (SD cards, USB memory). - The product dimensions are compatible with 3.5-inch FDDs, allowing for direct replacement of the FDD. - SD cards and USB memory formatted to 1.44MB for the Silicon FDD are recognized as removable disks in PC/AT 1.44MB format when connected to a PC, enabling smooth data exchange with the PC. (For PC98 1.2MB and N88DISK BASIC format, the separately sold MLFDIMG Tool is required.) - It can be used as a replacement device for existing systems that use FDDs (various measuring instruments, production equipment, etc.). - Since it uses silicon memory from SD cards or USB memory as media, it offers longer lifespan and excellent environmental durability. - F235SD: SD card model F135UF: USB memory model - With the FD virtualization and image editing tool "MLFDIMG Tool" (sold separately), you can read data from FD, save and edit disk images on a PC, and smoothly transition to the Silicon FDD.
