We would like to introduce "taping processing," one of Otis's specialized techniques, which is capable of automatic implementation of film and tape processed products. Taping processing is a method that performs the punching and bonding of adhesive materials with high positional accuracy in a roll-to-roll manner, delivering the carrier sheet rolled up. This enables the use of automatic applicators, leading to benefits such as reduced lead times, stabilized quality, and cost reductions due to improved work efficiency. Double-sided tape, sheet materials, etc., have varying handling characteristics depending on the material. For example: - Very flexible and easily stretchable - Brittle and prone to breaking - Extremely thin and prone to wrinkling There may be cases where handling is difficult. At Otis, we can automate even challenging materials thanks to our unique know-how that allows for precise continuous punching and bonding processing. In addition to tape shape processing, we can also deliver composite processed products created by punching and bonding resin films, double-sided tapes, heat-adhesive sheets, foams, metal foils, etc., through taping processing. We own 3, 5, 8, and 25-ton press machines, with the 5-ton and 8-ton machines primarily in operation. 5-ton press machine QDC specification: 180 Processing dimensions: Maximum 180×150mm Speed: Maximum 300 shots per minute (spm) 8-ton press machine QDC specification: 200 Processing dimensions: Maximum 200×200mm Speed: Maximum 170 shots per minute (spm) Both the 5-ton and 8-ton press machines have a proven accuracy of 38 microns at the bottom dead center under certain conditions, with processing accuracy of ±0.05 to 0.2 mm (0.1 mm PET). The processing equipment, including press machines, is manufactured in-house, allowing for rapid customization. By combining press machines, laminating machines, and image inspection machines, it is possible to produce composite processed products on a single line.
