The ROM-5420 series SMARC module incorporates the NXP i.MX6 Cortex-A9 SoC. The Freescale i.MX6 supports 2D/3D graphics accelerators, full HD 1080p encode/decode hardware engines, and two independent display outputs. The ROM-5420 series supports security protection, safeguarding users' images from illegal copying. The support for camera input and power input ranging from 3V to 5.25V makes it easy to design for portable applications. The ROM-5420 SMARC module is equipped with not only Advantech's evaluation board, the ROM-DB5900, but also Linux BSP, schematic check tools, test utilities, and reference code for application development and device integration.
