Here is a case study of the "Great Buddha of Ushiku," which we designed and constructed. Completed in 1993 after seven years of work. We introduced the Ushiku Great Buddha Monitoring System (Structural Health Monitoring). This system measures the vibrations of the structure caused by earthquakes and wind in real-time using observation equipment installed in the building, allowing for the assessment of safety and impact. It has been operational since April 2016, integrated into the Great Buddha of Ushiku.
