The "SWF Series" suppresses surge voltage to approximately 650 to 800V when installed. Surge voltage occurs when the wiring to the load is long, typically reaching about twice the inverter's PN voltage (DC). By installing this product, dv/dt is suppressed, which in turn reduces the generated shaft voltage.
