basic information
The TeraGauge 5000 is ideal for non-contact, non-ionizing, and non-destructive thickness measurement, void detection, and area weight measurement of opaque and semi-transparent materials such as plastic bottles, preforms, rubber, and ceramics. The target materials include glass, wood, paper, composites, as well as webs and sheets. Specifically designed for industrial use, the TeraGauge is provided as a measurement unit and is used in offline measuring devices and integrated into inline measuring devices on production lines. The TeraGauge sensor's very high dynamic response speed and excellent signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) provide the best measurement results for thickness measurement of opaque and semi-transparent materials. The measurement speed is fast, at less than 25 ms. Manufacturer: TeTechS Inc. (Canada)
