The water quality of residual organic matter in ultrapure water can be confirmed by the amount of total organic carbon (TOC). Elga's TOC monitor measures the resistivity values before and after the UV lamp and calculates and displays the TOC value in real-time. Batch-type TOC monitors output measurement values 5 to 10 minutes after sampling, which may differ from the actual water quality at the time of sampling.
