FPGA high-speed processing
The SceneScan from the German company Nerian is a state-of-the-art stereo camera system utilizing FPGA processing. SceneScan can capture images in real-time through stereo cameras (Karmin3) and stereo matching image processing. Unlike conventional depth sensors, stereo vision is a passive technology that does not require visible light or near-infrared illumination. This allows for 3D measurements in outdoor environments, long-distance measurements, in conjunction with other sensors, and even underwater.
