Improving the cutting of machine tools with fine bubbles! *Case study collection available.
By simply installing the microbubble generation device "OK Nozzle," there are cases of reduced processing time and prevention of coolant liquid contamination and decay!
Fine bubbles refer to the general term for microbubbles and ultrafine bubbles (nanobubbles). Ultrahigh fine bubbles (UFB) are nanobubbles (NB). *Defined in June 2017 by ISO TC281. Our "OK Nozzle" is an ultrafine bubble generation device with a very high generation efficiency of [480 million bubbles/mL]. The effects of fine bubbles are diverse and are effective even in cutting and grinding situations. **Effects of using the microbubble generation device "OK Nozzle":** - Improved cutting and grinding performance - Cleaning and purification of coolant tanks - Prevention of edge chipping during aluminum cutting - Separation of lubricating oil and cutting oil - Purification of cutting fluid and prevention of spoilage This document details cases where the "OK Nozzle" was used in cutting with machine tools. It includes examples where the cutting depth increased from 4μm to 7μm, reducing processing time, and cases where the generation of biofilms on the inner surface of water-soluble coolant tanks was suppressed. *For more details, please contact OK Engineering. Our main business is the design of specialized machine tools for processing automotive parts and similar items. We have been researching microbubbles since 2000. In 2006, we developed a loop flow microbubble generation nozzle. We applied for a patent, which was published in May 2008. Since spring 2008, we have been supplying a special type to a company that sells ozone microbubble shower devices. General sales began in 2009.
